Burton Flight Attendant Camber Snowboard 2021 159cm Wide
Prepare for take-off with a board that makes waves for its abilities to carve and catch air.
Designed to be a terrain-slaying alternative to more traditional twin shapes, the men's Burton Flight Attendant Snowboard is a free spirit that dissects both pow and hard-pack with equal precision. Balanced Freeride Geometry is the secret with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge the board turns tight and quick, with Directional Camber and taper for added float and flow. A blend of big mountain attributes and all-terrain aggression, the Flight Attendant finds the sweet spot for everything from steep lines and spontaneous slashes to wind-lips, pillows, and side hits.
ABOUT THE GRAPHIC: A collaboration between two friends, Burton designer and artist Jackson Tupper and photographer Will Stevenson, based on their shared love of flowing through nature in their own dang way. The result is a conversation between two visual approaches: analog photography and hand-painted shapes and color. Perfect for a board that blends freeride, freestyle, and everything in between.
Squeezebox - A wavy core which is thicker at the beginning and end of the channel which are the areas that take all the pressure when loading up on an ollie. The thickness adds more snap which will lead to a more responsive pop.
Dualzone™ EGD™ - Wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Triax Fibreglass with Carbon I-Beam™ - Three directionals of fibreglass to keep things solid with the addition of a Carbon Beam running from tip to tail to keep that longitudinal responsive that you have been asking for.
Balanced Freeride Geometry with Pro-Tip™ - Setback camber with your setback stance meaning it feels like a twin but rides like a directional. Pro-Tip™ trims the thickness in the tip and tail reducing weight.
Sintered WFO base - The pores of the wood are larger meaning that it holds onto wax longer.
Infinite Ride™ - Overbuilding the board and then using a machine to break the board in meaning its ready to ride as soon as you get it and will last season after season.
Super Sap Epoxy - A bio based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional epoxies
The Channel - Rather than using a 4x4 system, Burton have introduced the Channel. A system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately. Burton offer a 3 year warranty on all boards with the Channel.
