This griptape looks awesome and I love the idea but......

This griptape looks awesome and I love the idea of using recycled shoes to grip you're board.

Unfortunately, though, in practise, it just doesn't really work as well as normal grip tape. As soon as your feet get just a little bit damp, it stops gripping. It also seems to pick up dirt really, really quickly, and then you lose the grip that you sort of first had. Feels great when you first put it on, but after a few sessions and just getting it a little bit dirty, it's already starting to feel a bit slippery.

To be fair, it's probably more like 2.5 stars, but I'm going to mark it down because I feel like Nike and Jessop could have done a better job with this. I'm giving it 1 star for looks, 1 star for trying to recycle materials and giving it a go, and then half a star for the grip when it first starts.

I'm actually going to have to take it off now and just put some normal Jessop or Mob grip on because it's just not really usable, and it could be quite dangerous. When I'm doing 180s and front 180 reverts, my foot is often just slipping off, which is making me a bit nervous.
